Guy’s & St Thomas’s NHS Foundation Trust comprises two of London’s oldest and best-known teaching hospitals and operates from a wide range of community estate based in the local community. The hospitals have a long history, dating back almost 900 years, and have been at the forefront of medical progress and innovation since they were founded. Both hospitals have built on these traditions and continue to have a reputation for excellence and innovation.
The whole organisation is embarking on an exciting period of change and this positive change has resulted in the search for a newly created Director of Finance position (along with the Associate Director of Finance – Capital Development) to support the upcoming challenges. There were also changes in the Senior Management Finance team which led to the Associate Director of Finance – Income & Contracting becoming vacant.
Guy’s and St Thomas’s NHS Foundation Trust was looking for a resourceful and confident Finance Leader to drive significant change, direct the delivery of finance systems and report and maintain an appropriate grip on financial planning in support of the wider organisational goals.
