Ridhi initially joined Allen Lane to deliver talent for the Interim and Permanent IT teams before joining the growing Legal & Governance practice as a 360 Interim Recruiter in 2023.

Ridhi is from good old Streatham but moved to the states at the tender age of 15, returning in 2022 when Allen Lane came calling. Living in both the UK and US for so long makes for a pretty awkward accent. Most days she’s English and some days she’s American, depending on the weather. Another ex-Morgan Hunter with significant experience, our 2022 “performer of the year” has several years’ experience recruiting accountants across the Public Sectors and beyond. Initially all things “education finance”, he has increasingly become a vital cog in our interim local government finance machine.

Simon is proudly the only person in Morgan Hunt’s 25 year history to win their prestigious George Miller award twice (an award voted for by colleagues to recognise company values in practice). He has a morbid fear of birds (pigeons in particular!) after being attacked by a neighbour’s chicken as a child.

Whilst at a Government function at No.11 Downing Street, Lester got lost and accidentally navigated his way into the reception of No.10 to be greeted by armed guards curious as to what he was doing there! Lester loves his cricket and once accidentally hit Courtney Walsh for 6 and he has also run out two former Test cricket captains whilst batting with them. On an Allen Lane trip, Les met his idol, Shaggy and serenaded him with “Oh Carolina”, his karaoke ‘go-to’.

Hailing from Durban, South Africa, Pips flew the SA nest after finishing High School to try out life in NYC and went onto complete a BA in Corporate Communication at Varsity College. It was towards the end of 2019 where she moved to London, just in time to begin life at Allen Lane before the pandemic took over. As part of our Operations’ team, Pips specialises in payroll, works closely with our managed vendor clients and also supports our permanent business activity.

Pips was one of the first people to understand the trials of undertaking a new role 100% remotely, having started at Allen Lane just 5 days before lockdown, and she thrived! Living so far from home, she cherishes spending time with her friends and family, in particular the annual family ski-trip.

In August 2020, Lauren packed her bags and started a new chapter in London taking the well-trodden path from Cape Town to Allen Lane having graduated a year earlier with a BA in strategic Brand Communications at Vega College, Cape Town, where she also completed an Internship with a Wedding & Events Specialist. As a key part of our Operations team, Lauren works with the Local Government Interim team with their onboarding process, as well as assisting with payroll, the permanent team and putting her event planning skills to good use!

With roots in Zimbabwe, Lauren is a country girl at heart (especially when it comes to her favourite music genre) with a love for all things outdoors although Cape Town certainly brought out her city side and her passion for good food. Lauren’s weekends are filled with lots of park walks and adventuring around the city, catch-ups with friends, and most importantly attending her church service on Sundays.

She also organises initiatives for fellow employees, such as Mental Health First Aid training, as our Well-being Champion.

No stranger to a Netflix binge, her favourite and most recommended show is American Horror Story which she’ll wait before sharing with her baby girl!

Heather works within the operations team, supporting the NHS and IT teams. She also helps the business with payroll and internal IT issues.

In her downtime, Heather can be found going to spin classes and the gym, trying every brunch spot in London, or planning her next adventure/city break!
