        A key member of the Technology & Transformation team that will ensure our cloud solutions are fit for purpose.

        You will also ensure they are well-architected to deliver the capability required today and extend in future with ease, and identify opportunities to extend and diversify the delivery of our capability into new customer sets.

        As Technical Architect, you will play a crucial role in managing the cloud architecture. This will involve supporting development of project team’s designs and technical approaches, providing rationale to senior customer stakeholders for project designs. In addition, you will coach and mentor others in the business to aid their understanding of technical best practices.

        Essential Criteria – to be demonstrated in your application:

        • Demonstrable knowledge and experience in solution architecting, utilising techniques and tools to help communicate the solution.
        • Demonstrable knowledge of large-scale Cloud architecture as well as on-premises infrastructure
        • Demonstrable experience of managing stakeholders, building relationships and confidence for an engineering team.
        • Excellent client relationship-building skills based on a passion to solve our clients’ complex mission challenges: a collaborative individual with the confidence and integrity to earn customer and internal stakeholders’ confidence.
        • Excellent strategist and communicator who can provide clear and concise messaging both internally and externally
        • Adept at dealing with competing priorities and deadlines
        • Demonstrable experience liaising with stakeholders to translate business requirements into relevant artefacts.
        • A good understanding of infrastructure, communications and security technologies.
        • A good understanding with demonstrable experience of cyber solutions and how these can support business to mitigate cyber risk within a best practice framework of controls.
        • Experience working with environments that use the Microsoft technology stack e.g. Windows, SQL Server, Active Directory, BizTalk and Exchange etc.
        • Able to describe an organisations data architecture using tools such as logical data models and entity relationship diagrams.
        • Excellent and well proven oral and written communication skills and a capacity to work with a wide range of people.
        • Excellent interpersonal and activity management skills.
        • Ability to act under own initiative and constantly strive to deliver excellence in your work.

        *1-2 days per week in Canary Wharf
